Paternity testing is the comparison of a child to an alleged father to determine the probability of a biological relationship. Although not required, the mother's sample is strongly recommended to help improve statistics and to eliminate the chance of fraud. Samples are obtained by using a buccal swab and swabbing the inside of the cheek for approximately 30 seconds.
An Informational test is for your peace of mind and is not court admissible. You may perform the collection in the comfort of your own home or schedule an appointment with one of our certified collectors. No identification is required and results are ready within 1 business day of receipt of all participants' samples.
If you cannot collect a swab, you may submit a contact article. A contact article is anything the participant came into contact with other than a buccal swab. There is no guarantee a profile will be obtained from a contact article. We cannot determine if a profile is obtainable until all lab processes have been completed; therefore a refund will NOT be issued if the contact article produces no comparable profile. Cases that include contact articles have an extended turnaround time of 5 business days, and additional fees, please contact DNA Solutions to order your kit if you plan on using contact articles.
To ensure your privacy all kits are shipped in discreet FedEx packaging addressed from Fulfillment Department.
